| 1932-35 | Attended Kent Road School The school was built in 1885. It was one of the Glasgow School Board's first secondary schools,originally known as Higher Grade Schools. Kent Road and the other Higher Grade schools (John Street, City, Whitehill and Woodside) were strategically placed to make sure that every child in the Board area had the opportunity to continue in education beyond the age of 13. The building was demolished in 1968 to make way for Woodside Secondary School. |

| 1959 - 2009 | Cathie worked for some considerable time at Hall Manufacturing, and it was while there that her husband Reg became a shareholder in a factory in Tauranga. Cathie also undertook the books/wages for this business as well. It was when her nephew took over as manager of Hall Mfg that Cathie left and commenced work at Auckland Glass (branch Rotorua) doing the invoicing and general office work. |
| 2009 | 23rd July Passed away peacefully at Rotorua Hospital aged 88yrs. Cremated at Rotorua Crematorium Death Certificate Her ashes have been interred at Rotorua Cemetary in the memorial wall. A plaque has been raised that also includes her husband Reggie. |
